En Barmont Rosé des Riceys Pinot Noir

Sour cherry, tart tomato, stems and leaves, savory herbs, purple flowers - lavender & violet, game, meat, licorice, black olives, sweet spices. Medium tannins, medium+ finish.

Crazy good. More tannins than you'd expect, so deserves some time. Like a great light burgundy but with the chalkiness of champagne.

Funky funky textural. Needs air.

More red than white. Reminds of Poulsard. Lots of VA. But aromatic and yummy. Vintage 2008.

Interesting. Very Pinot-like, and decidedly Champagne with chalkiness and acidity.

Amazing but will reward with time! Such serious structure on this Pinot

Калина, брусника, рябина, мятая земляника, щавель, лимон, бузина. Чуть оксидативные обертона, исчезающие с аэрацией. Хорошая структура со свежей пульсирующей кислотностью и едва ощутимыми танинами. Строго, собранно, фактурно. Должно дышать, при аэрации молодеет и распускается, приходит в прекрасную спортивную форму.

Really interesting rose. Kind of stiff right out of the bottle but opened up nicely after 15 minutes. A darker more red heavy dry rose 🌹
