I'm. Fan of the blend. Pop the top and have at it, as compared to the exposure needing a few hours to breathe. Excellent wine to share with special guests

Nice, very nice. Maybe a fruit is barely palpable, but leather, tobacco and vanilla do the job.

Nice semi-dry no harsh aftertaste

The Oakville 2010 Core Stone red blend opens with spice and licorice aromas. Somewhat tight upon first sip. It did open up after a while and good flavors of blackberry, smoke and a diminishing licorice took over. Seemed to me a little more acid than tannins but my companion disagreed.
