Crisp, fresh, delicious. Killer value. Wine Enthusiast 94 points seems a bit over the top. Lol. Rating affirmed Thanksgiving Eve.

I loved this prosecco--it says it's brut but I'd say it's a bit sweeter, which balanced the acidity nicely. The flavors are intense--lemon, yellow apple, honey, white flowers, and almondy notes. Even if this doesn't have crystalline pure fruit and comes of as a bit rustic, it's one of my favorite proseccos in a while.

Ripe golden delicious apple, white peach, orange pith, with a steely minerality. This is a leaner style Prosecco with medium acidity, moderate complexity, and a chalky finish. Good sip! #saberit #prosecco #bubbles

The NV Prosecco Superiore Rustico lifts up with a whimsical blend of peach skins, white flowers and hints of incense. This is silky and pliant in feel, with a creamy wave of sweet bubbles that fizzle out to reveal ripe Asian pear and pretty inner florals. It leaves a pleasantly bitter twang through the finale that keeps the mouth watering for more. The Rustico is one of the “entry-level” wines of the Nino Franco portfolio and makes for a wonderful introduction to the house style. (Lot# 21328) (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2021)

Jasmine and iris on the nose, complicated by minty and earthy twists. Then rich and creamy with hints of sweet spices and earth tones along with ripe yellow fruit...This is Franco’s “premium entry-level” Prosecco; though it carries no vintage on the label, Nino Franco always places the vintage on the cork, and this is a 2015 wine. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous)
