Without a doubt the first time I’ve had a vintage Italian sparkler. At first glance, this looks like champagne...bubbles are microscopic. However, there was no yeast to it. Banana peel. Very little tart fruit as well. Almost had a leather note on the finish. I was the only one in the room to guess Italian Sparkler. ✔️

From a single Vineyard and given extended aging by Prosecco standards this is the unique flagship of the Nino Franco portfolio. Whether it is worth the very high (again, by Prosecco standards) price is an individual decision but there is no denying the fine focus and intensity of the wine as well as how well it has held on to its primary fruit for a decade. Creamy texture, golden color and redolent of pear and apples with hints of exotic Asian spice, this is a one of a kind Prosecco

2010 vintage. Not labeled as Prosecco but rather as a single vineyard. Certainly is lovely but doesn't resemble Prosecco....

Аромат деликатный, абрикос, ананас, карамель, леденцы. Рот цитрусовый, яблочный, фруктовый. Хорошая кислотность, в развитии аромата минеральность. Тело довольно лёгкое, довольно быстро угасает в бокале.
