This is odd. Huge acid and mineral and floral but also dirty. Elegant. Long, citrusy. Needs air.
UPDATE - this got better, more balanced, cleaned up some but at 11.5% this also seemed thin. Great finish. This is a complicated wine. Maybe too complicated.

Delicate at 11.5% abv, but flavors failed to develop in the glass. Despite the outstanding pedigree of this producer, this is not the best showing. Gained some weight with air.

Took ten minutes for this to show its depth of flavor and striking acid. Beautiful wine.

Strikingly aromatic. Floral with some underlying hazelnut notes. The acidity/structure longs for food, and it takes some time to open up. It eventually reveals bright citrus & shows more concentration that I expected. Subtle hineysuckle & light almond notes add complexity. Unusual, but very good.

Tastes like white burgundy at a village level. Very balanced. Nice nose. Nice flavor. Enjoyable wine.
