Amber golden color with aromas of sweet dried fruits and nutty citrus notes. On the palate sweet ripe fruit in a nutty oak wrapper, some vanilla and ending with a raisin and fig aftertaste. Smooth, consistent. Nice!

Best on the third day, should come with a label. Stunning accord of sweet fruit and wood with an incredible underlying freshness. These tend to be murky and confused initially. Plan ahead!

Feb 20th, 2021Benchmark 10 year tawny. Not cheap, but worth it. Light nose of brown sugar. Palate is more brown sugar, vanilla, medicinal notes, all coursed through with a vibrant acidity that doesn’t let up, and a beautiful extended finish. First-class.
