Excellent negociant wine. Grapes come from organically working growers. Potel's 2002 vintage is much lauded. This Volnay ticks all the boxes. Still vibrant. New barriques are used to a certain amount (40%). In a good place right now.

Bright red with an orange tinge. Round and full - cherry notes but not much more. The next day strawberries. An Ok wine which which lacks secondary flavors to be at the higher end. I expect more from an 05 a stellar vintage.
