SULPHUR. Too much ML. Some bright fruit and popcorn. Good thing they didnt go nuts with oak or this wine would really suck. I don't recall exactly where the Medina vineyard is, however there's some nice sandy/sea salt notes to this.

14' Nickel & Nickel Medina Vineyards Chardonnay. Not my favorite style of chard. I wouldn't turn down a glass at Seven, The Ritz Carlton-Grand Cayman. Last bottle of the vacation 😕

Well now....as luck would have it, same year as the Thanksgiving wine I reported on ....different vineyard, and my what a difference! I ordered the Farniente, but was served the Nickel and Nickel by the server instead, lol. Labels are so similar, and I didn't have my glasses handy! Now we are talking buttery, silky smooth, apricots and all that is wonderful about a great Chardonnay with Attic Char at 925, The Landing Hotel, Wayzata.
