Coloration is deep ruby. On the nose, dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red liquorice, spice and vanilla. On the palate, black cherry, plum, red liquorice and cherry cola. Finish is fruity, mostly cherry with some vanilla. Very smooth with mild to strong tannins.

On the palate; poached strawberries, dark cherries, blackberries, blue fruits, chocolate, spice-box, leather, anise, underbrush, dry stems, black cherry cola & red roses. The soils are composed of deep volcanic loam with underlying clay and gravel.
