Pretty dark purple in color. Aroma has a big caramel impression with some dried fruits layered in - think date. Body is heavy syrup like that finishes velvety. Great balance between a tart acidity and medium sweetness. Age has been very kind to this bottle.

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, plum and earthiness. On the palate, plum, blueberry, tart berry, fennel, cassis, minerality and a vanilla finish. Still a good presence of chewy tannins.
