Jan 27th, 2021Amazing. I haven’t had many barbaresco and barolos. But this barbaresco w age is wonderful. Age shows beautifully. Still strong tannins, earthy, mushrooms, rich cherries, long finish. Paid $140 at resto.

Dec 30th, 2024August 20, 2022. Dinner w/ Doc J & Jack. 2+ years latter. Still bold tannins. Still drinking young. Don’t skip the decant, reward is worth it.

Aug 21st, 2022Nose has that classic cherry spice. Some cherry flower perfume.
Big dense cherry fruit on the palate. Some grippy minerals. Maybe a hint of heat. Some juicy deliciousness.
Some grippy tanins. Good structure.
Good but not rocking my world.
Somewhat closed.
As this opens gets a bit stewy. Cherry liquor. I’d drink early as a pricey glou glou
An hour in its very good. Big spice. Big fruit. Almost a savory spice on the nose.
