Sipping Fine Wine

Had not tasted a CA Mumm in a few years. Light golden color this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shows stone fruit and citrus aromas. The vibrant bubble palate had pear, sweet apple and tropical citrus flavors noting some vanilla spice. Fine acidity, nice structure and balance this crisp wine had a medium+ lingering finish. Good value!

Pale gold color with lively bubbles. Bright aromas of citrus fruits and pineapple complement a touch of biscuit and cream. The wine has a medium texture and sparkly effervescence that fades quickly into tart green apple. Overall this is a simple, spirited wine with freshness and clarity. Not ornate, just refreshing. 12.5% abv | $22 (sample)

Great simple sparkling wine, grapey flavors, some mineral aromatics. A tingle of sweetness.

Super clean wine. Straight forward wine that lacked depth or complexity. Still a good buy at its price point. Not my cup of tea though.

It's ok. It's nothing amazing, but for the money it's not bad. It's no Schramsberg of course, and I probably prefer Chandon's BdN in the $15/btl category.
