Medium lemon. Hint of grass or mint, wasabi or yellow mustard, Macademia nuts, apple.High acidity, medium sugar, medium alcohol. Blinded tasted 3 "blocks", guessed they were from the same producer but I thought it'd be in Vouvray.

Rich, full bodied and intensely expressive wine. Lots of fruits--apple, apricot, maybe some honeydew melon--with mineral overlay and kernel. Nice acidic zip at first, but body is a little flabby after that.

From a series of three single vineyard chenin blancs. Very nice wine. A little clean but well done

This and the S2 are my favorites. Intensity and concentration while still very much about finesse.

Loved this one and “A”. Amazing finesse with the grape, and highly quaffable.

Smells of peonies. Tastes of melon, grapefruit, and lime.

Strong oak but balanced acidity. 14% alc. From 32 year old vines. #garagiste

Had this a few nights ago to compare with the S2 single vineyard. Definitely more oaked and heavier than the S2. Much prefer the S2. Reminds me more of an American oaky white... Still had ok acidity, but for me the oak kind of drowned out other more delicate flavors from the Chenin.
