Aaaah, Movia. There’s just nothing quite like it. Thanks to @thekreylix for this lovely bottle. I’m sure it could continue to age well in the cellar but it was at a wonderful peak of savory yellow and dried herbs, saline candied citrus, and deep stony mineral tones last night with the burrata and apricots we had as a first course with dinner. This is a blend of Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon, and Pinot Gris.

Dec 19th, 2021Upon opening: acidic, austere. Many hours later: generous, rich, hints of common cab/Merlot elements with underlying Slovenian DNA. Lesson learned. Open early and don't suggest to a napa cab distributor.
