My last bottle of older vintage Movia. This was back when Ales was doing less skin contact with his Ribolla, so the wine is just faintly amber. At this point in its evolution most of the fruit has transmuted into savory herbs, candle wax, wet autumn leaves and nut skin. A bit more like a sherry (without the bite). Still enjoyable.

Quite blowsy at first with a real oyster shell blast on the nose. The palate is surprisingly lean given the nose. Crisp and packed with minerals. Almost muscadet-like
