Mar 27th, 20182009 Decant before serving - a wine to meditate - After 8 months of maturing, at full moon, the wine is gravity racked into bottles, no added sulphur, no filtration, no pressing.
Matured 8 months in customized 220 liter French oak barrels.
Oaky notes, a refined spicy woody note, hints of fine herbs. On the palate the wine is dry, elegant, bitterish (the grape skins disintegrated and remained in the wine) and youthful. Fresh grapes notes
Plenty of character and a fine, long aftertaste.

2 people found it helpfulNov 1st, 20152008 vintage. At opening, had a faint poo taint from reduction. With time it blew off to reveal nothing ethereal, but at least it was no longer smelling of poo.
