Really solid california chardonnay that gives you all that you want in this varietal from that region. Light golden color. Has a toasty and slightly oxidized nose that gives way to tropical fruits. Mostly pineapple. Great structure, strong acidity but not biting. More tropical flavors inside with vanilla, some lemon butter, and a nice oak finish.

Pours a striking golden, almost cat pee color. Showing oxidative notes initially. After some air and coming up to temp, it’s started to show its best. Aromas of burnt toast and Cointreau. On the palate it’s tangy tropical fruits. Lingering finish. Remarkable showing considering its age. Drink now at no less than 50°F and let it breath for at least 30 minutes. Trust me.

Current go to Chardonnay, affordable, well balanced and delicious. Just put it in risotto and drank with it. Yum.

This is my go to California Chardonnay from a true cool climate. It handles the oak with pride, fresh and lively from an organically farmed single vineyard.

Almost ripe pineapple, peach and cantaloupe. An older US style chardonnay so great with food but a little too much oak ro enjoy on it's own

Lots of oak, but bright acid (acidulated?) and a salty edge to pull it back

Mount Eden CHardonnay, certainly a very valid expression of the varietal, especially at this pricepoint.
