Amazing wine from a cooler vintage in Austria. Lovely red fruit mixed with plums and a bunch of spices. The acidity is just great. Ripe tannins, length and tension 100% on point. And still so much potential left.

Challenged the sommerlier to convice my husband of the fact that Austria produces excellent red wine...and succeeded! Lot of tannins reminiscent of Piemontese vintages...
