Sedimentary, my dear Watson! A lean and mean Syrah/Tannat blend with rich dark fruit and spice on the nose, leanness and a sturdy backbone of acidity on the palate ...and most definitely unfiltered.

Full bodied wine. Initially lighter than expected but opens quite nice on the palate. Heavy tannins. Filled with tastes of plum, chocolate, spice and pepper. Slightly earthy. Tastes a bit young. Will be superb in 5 years

Wonderfully complex. Very spicy, and likes time and food to really come alive. Dark fruit, leather, pepper, smoke, charred meat. This is a very delicious wine. Drinks slowly, but beautifully. It's ready now, but could sit and develop as well. Very happy with this one.
