Gigondas

I don’t think this was stored properly. Celery, smoke, vegetal, little cherry fruit and minerality. Opened up a bit after time.

Too young. Biodynamic gigondas at 13 years. Garrigue for days, cherry and spice.

The labels are color coded this is a single vineyard wine not their top cuvee

Still an interesting wine, showing notes of damp earth, tiny black currants, cocoapowder, brown spices and gingerbread. Of course, this wine is getting leaner, but there still is good balance and freshness and I think it's surprisingly vivid and charmingly elegant for its age, possibly due to a good splash of refreshing acidity. A nice surprise.

Sur les fruits rouges type cerise, des épices en finale. Encore un peu jeune mais déjà très agréable

Nose is true to its age. Front of the front palate still kicking (surprisingly). Not too bad for a old ass wine!
