This wine’s golden hue owes something, no doubt, to the three years of bottle aging it underwent. Its nose is rather brash, probably owing to the 60% Pinot Meunier/40% Chardonnay blend. My wife hated it. Apricot aromas dominate, with apple and toast following. Apple comes across strongest on the palate, with an earthy sensibility layered over it. The finish returns the apricot flavor.

Opened five days ago. Everything still very much intact. Pretty to look at and even prettier to taste. Light and long with a creamy mousse and surprising complexity. For $30 it's tough to beat.

Full bodied Champagne. Flavors of toasted brioche, black raspberry, green apple, strawberry, sour cherry, coffee froth. Bright, very active acidity. Very surprising and very enjoyable

Clear straw, small delicate bubbles. Green apple, pear and brioche in a puff pastry. Crisp, citrus, yeast and a dry finish. Nice Champagne 🍾 for the price.

Real Champagne for under $30 at the Nob Hill over-priced mini-mart — I wasn't expecting much except for a celebratory fizz. However, I really liked it and will buy more. It's not a super crisp nor acidic champagne.
