Surprisingly good on the first night. I had Montalbera a few times 8-10 years ago, and wasn’t impressed. This was not bad but faded quickly.

Almost perfumery on the nose with red rose, Violet, yellower flower bouquet when first opened. Red cherry, licorice, med+ body with touch of plum, prune and raisiny finish, mineral and dusty. Med to med +acidity, med to med-tannin. Could pair well with spicy fragrant Chinese spicy food, tomato mozzarella cheese with basil salad, Rose macaron, beets with orange and onion salad with aged balsamic vinegar.

Perhaps not the best Ruché, but it is hard to go wrong with this small appellation
Red Fruit, rose petals and perhaps just a touch too much of nail polish feeling

Incredible, penetrating aromas of ripe red cherries, floral cherry blossom and spice. Could smell this unique wine all night. Very tasty with but a bit decadent. Was a perfect pairing with cherry pie dessert.

Found at Cucina Enoteca in Del Mar - San Diego County by the glass and at the other locations of this Restaurant group. Well not a 10 but for the money a solid 9. 🌹 roses, violets, cherry and Earl Grey tea. Ruche is a rare Italian grape from Piedmont often you get a shit wine from this very small appellation - this one is good.

Floral, very distinct nose, taste underwhelming, but nice. #westlondonwineschool

Wow. You never forget your first Ruche. Lovely red flower aromas and refined sour cherry palette with enough acidity and structure that will make you want to slap yo momma.
