Solid Chenin Blanc with slight RS. Served cold so aromatics subdued but nice flavors.

Hazelnut and chestnuts. Almost creamy mouthfeel. Nice acidity too. #cheninigans #cheninblanc #chenin

Light and fruity without being too sweet. I’m a fan.

Wonderful for the price. Enjoying it at Bistro Bobette, celebrating Julia.

This is an excellent, refreshing Vouvray that has fruity notes of peach on the nose and strawberry on the palate. This wine is pleasantly sweet (possibly too sweet for some) and lacks the mineralogy of some of the Vouvrays I have enjoyed recently. It pairs nicely with cheese and charcuterie.

Pineapple upside-down cake, mango, sweet honey, a bit of banana, and sweet toasted vanilla on the nose. Arrives sweet on the palate with more pineapple cake, mango, and honey. Nice acidity. Overall a quite pleasing wine. I am interested in trying out pairings with food, especially foods that might provide a contrast to the sweetness on the finish a bit, which is juuust a tad too sweet for me, which is really my only big complaint with this wine. First time ever having a 100% chenin blanc, and I'm interested to try more to see how they compare to this.
