We are not really at the courthouse....but it would be badass to drink 1er Cru Muneret in jail!

2017 vintage. Decanted, chilled down to upper-50's and tasted after one hour. Light-medium body. A small amount of barnyard funk that blew off quickly. Penultimate bottle. In a state of transition but showing well. Judicious fruit along with softening tannins. Silk pajamas. The Mongeard style runs a little lighter but results in plenty of delicate beauties. This one is no exception. 3.30.24.

Celebrating my 30th birthday! I'm beyond blessed to experience another birthday with those dearest to me and sharing this phenomenal Burgundy (my favorite), which was a special gift from my dad. It's not the material things, nor gifts that truly matter in life, but the moments you spend with those you love. I'm beyond grateful to have shared this special bottle and have the best birthday celebration (although virtually) that I could have ever asked for. Best withes to my Delectable friends and their respective families during these challenging and uncertain times. BTW this bottle was phenomenal and the best Burgundy I've experienced thus far! (Hence the 10/10 rating)
