Still pretty wound up, after a decant and a hr of patience, one will be rewarded.

2011 vintage. Open (not decanted) and tasted after two hours. Fresh as a daisy. Tremendous power and finesse with a finish lasting over a minute. Insignificantly small amount of silty sediment. No rush to crush. Really gorgeous stuff. 12.8.23.

Hum que c’est bon. Une profondeur et une densité incroyable. La texture en bouche est aussi impressionnante. 2011... on dirait que le millésime est en train de changer. Un fruit épicé, chocolaté et légèrement viandeux. Top longueur.

Superb. Nice combo of cherry and smoke. Just a really fantastic bottle that will have a long life.

Almost pale-ish cloudy pomegranate color with some sediment. Bright nose with cherry, smoke, oak, wet forest, a bit of spice, rose petals and plum. Very tight tannins, even after decanting. Harsh, almost bitter aftertaste, striking with high acidity. This bottle definitely is waaaaay too young. See you in 2021.
