Dark tawny. Almost opaque. Tart fruit nose. Notes of tart cherries, tart rhubarb, tart oak bark, tart spice and a little tart mocha and tart menthol. Rich fruit in the mouth. A bit hot. Still primary. Needs more time in the bottle, or lots of time in the decanter to open up.

Soft, lush, delicious red fruits, rhubarb, dried flowers, and gentle chalk notes. Simply grand!

Ridiculous. At a sweet spot between youthful structure and tertiary flavors. Damn, this is so good with the Rabbit Shepherds Pie. What a treat on a Sunday afternoon.

Still a kid but showing beautifully now--this '02 Clos de Tart is so superbly balanced it could go another two decades easily!

Medium deep , more garnet rim . More open with red cherry , strawberry , touch floral , rosewater . Quite rich and winning in the mouth . Good sweet fruit , lovely acidity , fine tannins, saline touch . Better than the bottle had a couple of months ago , less forced better balance . Showing very well, still can go further . From now and over the next 10 years .
