Been enjoying NZ Pinot. The youthfulness (of the vines) is apparent with brightness. Paired with crunchy red fruits here it makes for good stuff (@ $13)...

Haven't visited the wines of New Zealand in a while, but this plush, juicy Pinot Noir could have me coming back in a hurry!

Wine in appearance was a light ruby. On the nose, there was a medium intensity of cherry and vanilla, but other scents seemed to be muddled in. On the palate, there was medium tannins, but harsh in structure. The body was medium, the acidity medium, the finish was very short. There was a lot of herbaceous and green flavors signifying a possible early harvest. The balance was lacking, the length was short, and there was some features that were distinguishable. but It left much more to desire. Overall an acceptable wine.

Another fab wine during tasting. A little smoky, spicy, cherry notes and the tannin is so balanced that can hardly taste it. Has great depth

Good density of red fruits/black cherries. Earthiness, spice, and cedar. Some tertiary notes starting to show - fruit leather and tobacco. Bright acidity and medium structure. Enjoyed outside on a beautiful 65+ degree night in Asheville!

Enjoyable #centralotago #pinotnoir on the day it was opened. Cherry, raspberry, some delicate spice, tea notes with some tartness that paired well with Moroccan Tagine-style chicken. 3 days later and it’s showing its 6 years of age all at once, bricking in the glass and oxidation on the nose. Decent QPR for immediate consumption. ~$14 at Costco.
