California Viognier

Ripe and aromatic with stone fruit and even a bit of lychee. Full bodied with medium - acidity. Blind tasters called New World Gewurtz, Vermentino, and Viognier.

Orange creamsicle, lemon and peach , off dry with a touch of RS, mild acid.

First time blind tasting in quite a while and I have to say that I actually nailed this wine - I suppose meaning that it really does speak true to the viognier grape from California in most settings - over the top aromatics of ripe golden apples, white flowers & tastes of the same along with more tropical fruits & dessert like quality - vanilla pudding? Def a touch of residual sugar! I remember loving this wine when I first started learning, not so much now, but it still holds some strange place in my heart!

Not very fruity but very light and crisp

Crisp. Refreshing.

This viognier thinks it’s a Chardonnay. Nevertheless, eminently drinkable.

Had it with grilled chicken thighs. Celebrating 5 years together just 5 days early

Definitely hits on all the classic notes of peaches, white flowers, honey, and bananas. The mid palate imp with air.
