Stunning nose. Just sick. Smells like Sozet. Savory, stemmy, blueberry, smoke, granite and so much berry berry fruit. Wild aromas but also focused and clear. Mint as well. Stunning granitic expression. Palate is an avalanche of fruit that is concentrated and insanely juicy but also has amazing delicate but substantial tannins. Almost creamy but also huge granitic expression and insane freshness. Succulent and lip smacking. So clean and pure as the driven snow. Stunningly long finish that just pitter patters for minutes until it’s no longer on ones palate. This guy is a star. What balance and poise. It’s very fruity now with a granitic backbone but will age gloriously for 10-18 years. What a wine.

Not memorable but good and better with some air.

This is everything young Northern Rhône should be - savory but no lack of fruit; feral but not acerbic; meaty, rich and dense but light on its feet; tannic but not drying or underripe. Drinking beautifully at the moment. Not a trace of oak. If you don’t like this, we’re not gonna be friends and you are probably a terrible person.

Violet, raspberry, mineral. Med + acid, pure and bright. Not a rustic Cornas, nor did it feel too modern and polished.
