Barbera D’Asti?

I think they misspelled acid.

But really though, it’s 2017... and under $20. It’s not a great wine, but it’s youthful, and it’s Italian which means it needs food. It’s an 8.6. But with food? It’s an 8.8...

The house is very respectable. Reminds me of my time in Torino.

Cherry all the way. Soft on the palate with medium body and acidity. Great wine with food.

A tiny pinch sweet, not very heavy on tannins.

A 2017 year on 2022, cellared correctly. Peaking and delightful. Bought Red Dot $20. Served w an olive heavy tomato pasta , so good. Low tannins, high acid; good with food. A lot of wonderful fruit

A light, dry, but slightly fruity wine with medium body and low acidity. A very nice summer red!

Compared to the previous Barbera, similar higher acidity and lower tannins, which I like a lot about the variety. Unlike the licorice character from before this one had more of a fruit presence like cherries and maybe strawberries or blackberries. A solid wine and other good reference for a variety I'm really enjoying

Perhaps a bit one-dimensional, but that’s what I expect and like in a Barbera d’Asti. Not complex, but still good. Pairs great with just about anything.

A well made Italian Barbera with noticeable acidity and soft tannins structure. Complimented our pasta/ chicken dinner because it enhanced each portion without being dominant. Good table wine.

Nouveaux and vibrant and yet supple on the palet. Full of red berries, heavy plum and a slight zing of spice- a smooth finish and just delicious!
