Smells of black currant scones

Small, tight and gorgeous bubbles.
Dried apple peel, funky lambic fruits, yeast for days, and a clean finish with mellowing acids.
Happy New Years! May this year do you well.

Tried this twice recently. From a small grower who specializes in Pinot Meunier, with vines are planted in clay and chalk-based soils. A nice alternative from the usual blends, made with 100% Pinot Meunier. Intense aromas of red fruits and bread notes, nice mousse and bubble flow. On the palate juicy red berry fruit flavors with spice and toasty notes. Bold ending with toasty, yeasty, brioche notes, lingering on an elegant finish. Very Nice! A Fav!!

Bright beige with full white mousse and fine persistent bubbles. Highly aromatic nose of red apple and strawberry. Baked apple, dark toast, and red berry on the razor-like palate. Lean for a Blanc de Noirs, but still substantial feeling in the mouth. Medium short dark finish. 100% Pinot Munier gives a nice change or pace from the norm. Very satisfying in all respects both with food and on its own. Support grower producers! This should make it easy.

Medium intensity, short finish. Ripe red berries, and some yeasty characters.

Pale gold. Canned/dried apricot, bread dough, and Meyer lemon. Mushroom, cheese rind, almond skins. Medium acidity, intensity, and alcohol, and body. Leaner than expected and the finish is disappointingly short.
