Colli Orientali Del Friuli Tocai Friulano

One of my favorite Italian whites, Miani Friulano usually brings the vigor. This bottle was more delicate (after 4 years in my cellar.) It’s really good but if I had another bottle, I’d give it 3-4 more years.

Groovy. Round. Voluptuous. Not bitter or over extracted.

Showing great at a young age. Tropical and stone fruits. More of this needs to be had. Ridiculous acidity

Not the best example.. Still some SO2 and very closed

Off bottle or closed for the quarantine. Not showing much life. Some tropical fruit but none of the acid and energy usually get from this wine.

Monumental wine showing mesmerizing notes of tropical fruit and flowers. Deep, rich and intense. Pine-Apple and papaya, firecracker, ginger and candied lemon. Such an impressive and heavy-handed wine… yet Its fantastic acidity makes this is so complete, so hedonistic, so cerebral….
