Better once it warmed all the way up. I’m just not crazy about light reds. Too much tannin when it was cold.

Still young and developing but still very drinkable now. An hour of decanting is highly recommended and helps soften some of the rough edges. Though the wine is light in color as is mouthfeel but plenty of decent flavors going on from first sip through mid-palate and lingering finish. A very versatile wine that will work with pork, fish, turkey as well as cheeses both hard and semi-soft to soft. I would give it another 3-5 years to reach it’s peak and with a case on hand, will be doing so.

V15. Enjoyable. Nice fragrant cherry and smoke nose. Raspberry and black cherry fruit. Dry, tart, earthy finish. Balanced.
