Dark ruby garnet. Inviting nose and juicy medium palate of plum, black currant, red apple, and a hint of balsam. Medium plus tannins. Medium acidity. Medium long finish. An amazing and affordable introduction to the Merus range that proves quality doesn’t have to cost big bucks. An excellent pair with beef and other red wine fare thanks to that Old World-esque acidity. Drink now through 2026.

A juicy red blend from the Alexander Valley AVA, Sonoma. Dominated by Cab Sauv and Zinfandel. All over in dark cherry, plummy and baked berry notes, on the jammy side. Chocolaty and had a loamy texture. A bit over lingering and elevated juicy edges on the finish. Not for me.

Plums, cherries & raspberries in the nose with cherries & plums in the palate. Concentrated, full-bodied blend that paired well with cheese and prosciutto

This was recommended by the sommelier at Total Wine when Autumn was looking for Stag. We had this with steak and lamb chops. It was delicious and paired very well, particularly with the steak. Very drinkable and complex. Autumn and I both really enjoyed it.

Very good, nice lighter body. Maybe too light. Julia loves it!
