2012. Big berry/raspberry/strawberry, cola, twizzler, medium tannins, Bit of earth, mushroom, nice acid and a finish of forest floor. Really pretty. Had with thanksgiving, now with salmon.

Nov 27th, 2021I was semi-taken aback by this wine. Great aromatics right off the bat...crushed potpourri, ripe black cherries, licorice and some cedar. Still showing nice acidity at 7yrs young. What I found interesting was, based on the aromatics and front palate (ripe red and black fruits, plum and peppercorn spice), I expected the mid-palate to be more rich/flavor packed. Seemed a touch hollow. Finish turned to the savory side with herbal spice, and more underbrush/cedar. I have always enjoyed the ME Klopp Ranch Pinot (and SauvBlanc) but I’d have to try this again to see if my notes were consistent.

May 7th, 2019Blackberry, allspice, coriander seed, light tobacco, bramble, eucalyptus, perfume, rose pedal. In the pallet, tight in the mid, firm tannins and somewhat drying, shadowed by juicy acid. Needs more time in bottle, to evolve further.

Jun 24th, 2014Shows fresh cut berries and rose petals. Dusty finish with firm tannins. Fresh, crisp, and inviting. New World, but built to age. Been holding and excited to see what the others can do.

Jun 9th, 2020This was not as complex or as tasty as the 2012 Aubert CIX Pinot. Good wine though...
