Reserve Santa Barbara County Chardonnay

If I left you with the impression that our renovations were completed, think again... Why do I feel that the contractors keep taking hate-craps in our pool?
The powder room is still in flight, and god only knows if it will be finished in 2019.
I know my wine-snob friends will take a good swig of hate-O-rade before commenting on this post, but I don’t give a shit. I like Mer. It’s well constructed. This vintage is textured, layered and a touch exotic. The nose displays pineapple and mango. Palate presents butterscotch and rich oak. Finishes with bright acidity and beeswax. For the duckets, this is tight.

We had the 2015 Vintage on 6/17-18/20. A good California Chardonnay. There were tastes of lemon, oak and vanilla. Not too heavy nor acidic. One day, I hope to get to Santa Barbara.

Beautiful balanced tropical notes, touch of butter and acidity

Buttery and oaky. Pears, lemons and vanilla. Balanced and soft. Nice.

The more you drink, the worse it gets.

Caymus winery. Notes of apricot and peach. Refreshing with a fruity sweet taste.

Bright acidity on the finish keeps thisfrom going completely over the top. Tropical flavors abound. A meal of a Chardonnay.

Very rich and ripe but had a minerality and acidity on the palette that was surprising. Still not my style at all but a good Cali Chardonnay.

This is a fine Chard, pleasant bouquet with floral notes and very smooth on the pallet.
