Donna's Sta. Rita Hills Syrah

Ohhh the ‘18 is good and will get better. Right out of the bottle the nose is big and beautiful. Hours later, getting purple flower silkiness. Nice evolution. I’ll try and put my other bottle away for a few years.

Sure tastes like 100% stem inclusion.

Big, blue fruit. Chewy, bit of tobacco and chocolate. About to kill@it with some lamb.

Wow. I really liked this. Very fresh, full and lush wine. I was expecting a harsher wine with alcoholic heat at 15% plus but it had the kind of concentration and class you see in a SQN.

Bold and long. Alcohol with some protagonism. Good for another 10.

My bottle doesn’t say “Donna’s” anywhere on the label. Not a very exciting wine. Won this at a wine tasting event. They said retail is $39. I’ve tasted better wines for 1/3 that price. Would not buy.
