Solid QPR Barolo from TotalWine at $50 or less. Initial notes of prune dissipate with air (thank you, wine gods), yielding a classicly-styled and balanced Barolo with sour cherry, roses, bitter almond, and violets. Quaffable, and plenty of grip to hold up to most food pairings. Great vintage, but could use a few years to gel.

Medium brick red. Slightly stinky, earthy and dried red cherries nose. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and very drying. Great acidity that makes your mouth water. Earthy and a bit of tobacco on the palate too with a bit of green notes too. Super long and lingering finish. This needs time. Drink from 2019 till 2028. (90+)

Killer bottle. Lots of flocculation, but the la morra floral notes are singing.

Nice tanins, perfectly even structure, fruit not overbearing.
