Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand
Slightly plonky passion fruit with just enough acid to keep it interesting. With less this might devolve into Skittles territory.

Comes with built-in “ready to drink” temperature sensor, “snowflake” on label turns “blue” in fridge when ready to drink! Pale straw with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits adding grassy floral herb notes. On the palate ripe peach and pineapple with lemon zest, classic New Zealand SB. Vivid acidity and grassy spice complement this well balanced wine to a medium finish.

Nice and gentle Sauvignon Blanc 2013 from Marlborough Valley! Freshness, white flowers and green apple with a well reached balance of acidity and soft minerality; slate!

Light yellow in color with a green hue.
On the nose grapefruits,
grass, citrus, lemons, green apples and bitter herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, bitter herbs, spices and white pepper.
Medium finish with bitter almonds.
This Marlborough sauvignon blanc is refreshing and crisp with mouthwatering acidity and a nice finish. Very much like a spicy grapefruit juice on the nose and palate. Better than their Rosé, though.
Needs to be very chilled. I paired it with cheeses, dried fruits and nuts.
13% alcohol by volume.
85 points.
$13.
