Flagship #Toscana rosso from Ily. Medium-full black cherry, cassis, and licorice-y/leathery back-end. Showing every bit of its 14.5% and some. Out of balance and got worse with time. #boozy #cherryvodka

Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) and Sangiovese (20%) blend. Deep ruby color. Aromas and flavors of black cherries/berries, leather, tobacco, dark chocolate, fresh herbs, black pepper and baking spices. Medium bodied and shows great depth, but with a very soft texture, nice balance and fine tannins. Thank you Kase. Punches way above its price point. Christmas Eve 2022. Thanks for bringing this one, Kase! Revisited in April 2023. Easy drinking! Revisited again in July 2024. In a good place.

For my palate, the wine was overly acidic and the body and tannins didn't seem quite to balance it. Much better with food. Overall had depth of character and flavor, but didn't balance well -- think tart cherries and red fruit, wet stone, notes of menthol.
