Flower garden, lemon zest, good minerality. Perennial favorite.

“Dirty lemonade”. Citrus, muddled herbs, great minerality, long finish.

I have written ‘dirty lemonade’ about this wine before. Realized this time that it reminds me of a deeper, more complex version of the ‘medicine ball’ tea I order at Starbucks - Mint tea, peach tea, honey, lemonade (Honey Citrus Mint tea on some menus). Good stuff.

Today's lunch wine a casa. The 2013s are outstanding. Dan's Chardonnay has truly grown on me since the first 2009 vintage. Think it was a blend that year…

Sharp, screaming acid, but full bodied. Really tasting wonderful lots of white fruit & stone fruit.

Dan’s wines continue to impress me. Love the acid, wet rock and floral characteristics.

It's no surprise that this was delicious. Dan Petroski is the man.

Patience has paid off with the 2011 #Gemina. Here I found a rich and soothing bouquet of baked pear, with stone dust minerality, young mango, yellow flowers, and the slightest hint of lime zest. On the palate, I found a zesty display of green apple with a spritz of tangerine, and caking minerality backed by mouthwatering acidity, yet still soft in textures. It finished remarkably fresh with cleansing acidity, a zing of lime citrus, and inner florals. This is a gorgeous example of evolution in bottle. #massican #chardonny
