A simple Malbec from Mendoza. Showing black fruits with oak, licorice, spices, cola, chocolates, tobacco and coffee.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Medium finish with soft tannins.
Dry on the palate and very fruity.
Easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. A good party wine too.
I haven't had this in at least 5 years. It's nice to circle back and see how my palate changed.
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
14% alcohol by volume.

Nice malbec. Shows good structure, bright blackberry/pomme fruits, pepper spice, and some vegetal quality to the finish of a full bodied, dark, and concentrated wine.

Really solid malbec.. chewy sweet black cherry and vanilla extract. Low tannins and really drinkable. Fabulous QPR.

Умеренно плотный, рубиновый цвет, с легкими малиновыми отсветами. Здесь влияние дубы чувствуется гораздо полнее, 12 месяцев все-таки, и как следствие выраженный сливочно-шоколадный характер аромата, с черникой, смородиной и другими черными ягодами "за спиной". В целом аккуратно, хорошо оформленные танины. К интересным чертам можно отнести некоторый намек на "солоноватость", которая не часто встречается в винах и делает их весьма универсальными в сочетаниях с едой.

Dark, deep ruby/inky in color with a purple rim.
Pronounced nose of berries, wood, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Smooth and dry on the palate with dark berries, cloves, chocolate, blackberries and peppercorn.
Long finish with big smooth tannins.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
What a great Malbec, yet still young. This would be a great one to age for 5 to 10 years.
