I love a 100% Cab Franc; however, maybe this one needs to age more? It’s good, but not great. Coates my palate but not with fruit, nice color, medium body, just lacking in fruit.

Very smoky and oaky. Almost too much for me. Lots of tannins that really linger. Kind of disappointed, I really enjoy a good Cab Franc but it’s lacking something. Not much fruit, light bodied and tastes watered down. Some may enjoy this but I like more fruit, less oak and full bodied. Nothing wrong with the wine, just not my taste.

Deep ruby. Red cherry and white cranberry on the nose. Palate (medium full body) echoes the nose with a hint of nuttiness and red licorice on the finish. Medium tannins; more assertive on the back palate. Medium plus (for a New World Bordeaux variety) acidity. The lighter, more senior Cabernet in the hands of the skillful Opi Sadler makes a versatile red at home with cheeses, on the early autumn porch , and of course with classic cuts of beef (it’s Argentine, after all). Drink now though 2023.

Fruity Argentinian cab franc. Long finish with medium tannins. Really like the way the bitterness lingers. Went well with pork.

Well it is National Drink Wine Day! Very tannic but with lots of fruit flavor. A little earthy on the nose

Great expression of cab franc, berry flavours, and a hint of coffee in here for sure.

Enjoyed this wine. Smells like blackberries. Full bodied, very dry. Had a perfumy, cedary taste which was not my favorite. Led to a lingering bitterness at the end. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get this again but still enjoyed it.
