If you could drink Southern Italian sunshine, it might taste like this. Packed with lush forest berries and easy on the tannins.

On the nose ripe cherries, strawberries and cola. On the palate confirmed cherries and slight tobacco and slight dry finish. Good wine for price

Ripe spicy cherry nose and palate. Obvious malolactic nose when just opened. Maybe better tomorrow. Will let you all know.

Very easy drinking but not super memorable. Hangover the next day!

The 2022 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo opens with wild herbs, cedar shavings and dried black cherries. It impresses with its silken textures, while zesty acidity elevates tart wild berry fruits. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruit, oak and forrest floor. On the palate cherry with smoke, cedar and spice notes, savory. Medium finish with grainy tannins ending sharp with earthy tones. Drink now, no further aging benefit.
