Clos Fontà Priorat Grenache Blend

Heavy black fruits on nose. 2017 super rich. Slightly hot but well balanced. A treat.

White one : coma Blanca and coma Alta are by far , so much better

Old fruit, dates, burnt out

Fantastic nose with mature black and red fruits, laurel, spices, licorice, authum forest, vanilla, fine roasted cedar wood, full bodied on the palate with creamy multi layered fruit flavors, pure chocolate, great balance with ripe melting tannins and a great acidiy, a great Priorat! 95 DSP

Delicious Priorat. At its peak imho... balance of spine and softness and fruit and secondary notes. Held up over 2 days (argon overnight). My last bottle :-( Love Mas d’en Gil :-) #ClosFonta

Dark color. Complex nose that gets overrun by the alcohol. Structure is there but overall a pushy wine.

Very, very earthy, musty and dry. Rather high alcohol content. Not much fruit. Perhaps a bit of blackberries.

Dusty fruit, medium to full bodied, dark fruit, oak, tobacco. In a good place but still some tannin to smooth out. Very tasty.
