Pretty white strawberry and mint aromas create an understated bouquet as the 2022 Rosé opens in the glass. This is soft and round with mineral-tinged pit fruits and inner florals that amass toward the close. The 2022 finishes subtle yet fresh, with lingering tension and tangerine nuances. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2023)

When you forget about a bottle of rose for 5 years…still consistent with notes from a few years back, with the savory element a bit more pronounced

I really enjoy their red and have wanted to try the rosé for a while. Perfect choice for LDW! This is not a super light Provence rosé — it has some heft and depth. Very juicy and delicious!

Smells and tastes like watermelon juice. A little salty minerality. Not on the same par as the rouge but clean and refreshing.

Vivid orange-pink. Sharply focused strawberry, rhubarb and orange zest scents, along with building floral and mineral nuances. Taut and focused on the palate, offering nervy red berry, citrus fruit and lavender flavors that are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. The mineral and citrus notes repeat strongly on the persistent finish, which leaves a hint of spiciness behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2020)

I hope everyone is doing well? It is Thursday night and I have opened the 2018 Mas de Gourgonnier Les Baux de Provence Rosè. The wine This wine is a blend of 63% Grenache, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Mourvèdre. The wine and Vineyard are run by Luc and Lucienne Cartier and is organically grown since the 1950's when the first planted the vineyard.

On the nose I find strawberry, orange rind, blood orange, red plum, red currant, herbs and minerals.

On the palate is strawberry, blood orange, red plum, red currant, herbs and a good minerality.

This wine is light to medium bodied with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel and medium + acidity that leads into a medium + citrus, mineraly driven finish. Let's all have a great weekend and please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

Limpid orange. Pungent red berries, blood orange and succulent flowers on the powerfully scented nose. Silky and energetic in style, offering sappy raspberry and tangerine flavors that pick up a minerally aspect as the wine opens up. Smoothly balances power and finesse and finishes long and precise, featuring a lingering lavender flourish. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2017)

Uniquely orange-pink in color, with an equally unique orange rind, cherry, and strawberry palate. The mid palate develops a very earthy quality, almost bitter coffee, or bitter almond. Not your typical Provence.
