Had a ‘14 in my cellar, aged very well for an inexpensive wine. Deep Ruby with dark edges. Aromas of berry fruit, complex spice, a touch earthy. On the palate, ripe Cherry and blackberry fruits with sweet and peppery spice. Nice approachable tannins that opened up quickly. Good balance and good length. Very Nice. Consistent quality.

I really like this Rioja - smooth, well-balanced and beautiful fruit aroma. The oak is a little stronger than other more fruit-forward Crianzas, but good, nonetheless.
