Vintage 2013 / deep colour, cacao, cinnamon, plums and laurel, so much to discover in smell, also brushwood, supple taste but in my opinion still potential for further development

Very smooth finish, very nice wine with hints of black cherry. It is all around excellent but too pricey for an everyday wine. 90 percent cab sav and 10 percent cab franc.

A little pruney, and a bit tired. I wish that I would've caught this wine about 6 years ago. It missed the mark for me and is starting to show port like notes that turn me off.

Whoop whoop. This is in a fantastic spot! Great typical Cab S nose with black currant, cinnamon, cedar. In the mouth some milk chocolate, candied fruit, bramble and some cotton candy. This will easily beat double priced super tuscans. Fantastic PQR.

2016 vintage….an exceptional year.
85 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 15 % Cabernet Franc from Maremma, Tuscany close to the ocean. 18 months in small French oak barrels …70 % new.
Aromas of blackberry, raspberry kirsch and walnuts.
Dark fruit, a touch of earthiness, bay laurel leaves with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a seamless finish.
We had a 50 day dry aged strip loin for dinner with this wine.

Well aged - but a little rough around the edges - pleasant - but a bit harsh on the finish.

Gentle cigar box and leather on the nose. Gives way to some dark fruit and even a slight hint of prune. (a Hint of classic Sangiovese coming through ). Tannins are there - but drinking well now. Finish is medium long Drinking well!!
