Riserva Barolo Nebbiolo

Stellar.

Delicate but sturdy. Very nice

On the nose was heavy on anise, and notes of vanilla and cherry. On the palate, cherry, vanilla, spice/pepper and anise. After 8 years the tannins are mellowing nicely but still strong. Probably needs a few more years in the bottle to reach its full potential.

Very full body with high acidity. Strong body while delicate flavors of flowers

Gift from family - they know we love Italian wines.

An interesting 2010 Barolo. Enough tannins to complement Italian foods. Flavors of plums and cherries initially but it drifts away quickly. Nice but not outstanding.

Unken doft, jordkällare. Tegelbrunt. Övermogen frukt, läder, toner av jord. Mogen. Tung. Hint av prudlande frukter. Lätta tanniner för ett Barolo.

Smoky flavor, deep. Delicious. Tried at MCC wine expo

Light, fruit forward for sure. A little thin in texture.
