Nice, easy drinking. Lovely by itself, but food friendly. Great value.

There is a bit of funk on the nose. Then comes crushed rocks and cherry. And after a while comes almond. The palate is very dry with a strong acid drive, some cherry notes, a bit of width, a very dry touch on the side, drying tannins and a very long finish with cherry. Not bad but I was expecting a bit more.

Exactly what you want out of a Rosso di M. Round but fresh fruit, forward, but with enough acid to give structure. Simple but really nice.

With Cheyne 💕 Lighter than what we like compared to Chianti classico. Faint taste of dates/figs - a bit sweet gives a small hint of port flavor. It’s ok but will try something else next time.
